cake anyone?

Recently, a big part of my creative life involves the custom cakes I design and make. So I thought 'why not showcase a few here on my blog'!? Do you know how hard it is for a frosting addict like me not to eat the entire cake before I deliver it!?

This cake was for a beach themed graduation party.

A baby shower I had for a friend. Blue and Brown - oh, so cute!

This cake was for a 1st birthday "Bubble Bash". As you can see, the cake was a replica of the bubble favors they handed out. The bubbles, even though challenging, were fun to make.

For a butterfly baby shower.

Another 1st birthday!

This cake I did for a bridal shower. I know, I know, pretty "heavy" colors for a bridal shower, but there was a good reason. The castle was a replica of where the wedding was going to be. And since St. Clements Castle didn't ask me for my input on their colors (the nerve!!!), I had to go with it.

Several people at this Easter party didn't even know this was cake!

That's enough for now. I'm dying here looking at all these cakes again - I have to go make some frosting! Frosting shot anyone? I guess I could even make my cakes a regular post... Do you guys like seeing them?

  4. thanks all! Katie, I'm in Connecticut now, but I'm originally an Okie! I have been reading your blog for awhile now (and love it btw) and loving hearing stories about my old stompin' ground. We still have lots of family there, so we are back every so often to visit. My husband and I are high school sweethearts (graduated from Jenks) and both OSU grads. Loving chatting with a fellow Oklahoman!
