blogher '10
I'm getting geared up... This weekend I will be headed to the "Big Apple" for yet another conference - BlogHer '10. Being so close to NYC sure comes in handy sometimes. I am so excited - ready to learn a little, meet fellow bloggers (hoping to see some of my favorites!) and, of course, party and mingle a bit. I'll let you all know how it goes. Anyone else going?

i'm a winner
Awhile ago I entered a giveaway over at 'jp creative' and surprisingly I won!!!! I never win anything. Anyway, she will be designing me a new pretty blog header. I'm so excited!!! This is great for a couple of reasons. First of all, I love her style! And secondly, I've had that job on my list for months now, but haven't been able to get to it because of all the work coming my way (which I love, I'm not complaining).
I can't wait to work with Jessica! Check out her blog here. I love reading her blog. Beyond great designs, she has a good balance of everyday life.
I'm really looking forward to this design process. I'll keep you all in the loop.

me - a guest blogger? what?

Brittany of Tangled and True asked me to be a guest blogger today. Huh? What? Someone actually wants me talking to their readers - poor thing, she must not know how un-cool I am.
Thanks Brittany, I'm honored!
She wanted me to share my milk and cookies party with her readers. So you have all seen the pictures before, but go check it out anyway and leave Brittany some blog love! Her blog is way cool by the way. I saw some pretty inspiring things over there.... hello cute St. Patty's Day idea! I'll definitely be checking in regularly.

And more on the milk and cookies party... This party has a life of it's own huh!? I find myself trying to keep up with it instead of the other way around. (I can't tell you how many emails I've gotten asking about that party.) Anyway, yesterday I was like a giddy school girl when I saw it featured on Party Perfect. My jaw dropped. I am so excited! This might sound stupid, but that's like winning a Oscar in my book! Anyone that has worked at Martha Stewart is uber-popular, aka A-list celebrity to me. Thanks for the shout out Sara! Check it out here.

blog love
Wow, am I in heaven? I have recently been featured on 3 blogs (to my knowledge) and I can't believe the amazing response. Seriously, I think I've died and gone to heaven. It is just such a surreal feeling seeing your name/work in "lights" so to speak. I regularly watch these blogs, so to have one of my parties showcased on them is pretty cool in my book. These bloggers are like celebrities to me - I'm star struck! So to receive emails and accolades from them (as well as lovely comments from their readers) is still taking awhile to sink in.
This all started when I entered the "Most Adorable Kids Party 2009" hosted by Jenin over at Creative Hostess. I didn't place, but apparently was a finalist, which is turning out to be just fine with me! I have not only been showcased on her blog here, but also by Chris over at Celebrations at Home. They are both just the sweetest ladies. Thanks again Jenin and Chris! Then today, while doing my regular blog perusing, I went here and guess what I found... my party again! I feel so loved! Again, like I said, a very surreal feeling when you stumble upon yourself (and I don't mean tripping over your own feet - which I do. Often!).
Oh, and I have to give a shout out to the first blogger that posted my party, my great friend Laurie. Go check her out here. She is such an inspiring person.
So, without further ado, I better get my rear in gear and post the party they all already have up on their sites.
